Middle school track results

ORONO — The Piscataquis Community Middle School and SeDoMoCha Middle School track teams concluded the 2016 outdoor season at the Almquist Middle School Invitational on May 24 at the University of Maine.

Jemyni True of PCMS was the meet’s grade 7-8 winner in the 55 hurdles at 9.45 seconds. True was also 11th in the 100 with a time of 14.44 seconds.

Mya Young cleared a height of 4 feet, 10 inches to win the high jump. Young, Daisey Willey, True and Megan Lemieux finished 20th in the 4×100 relay with a time of 64.14 seconds.

Rounding out the top 20 finishers for the PCMS girl was Quianna Nadeau, tied for 12th in the shot put at 23-03.50 and Lemieux, 18th in the 800 at 3:00.18.

In the boys’ meet, Isaac Weymouth of SeDoMoCha finished third in the 55 hurdles at 9.86 seconds. Weymouth also tied for 11th in the high jump at 4-04.

PCMS’ Ty Masse finished fourth in the long jump at 15-04. He also came in 15th in the 100 with a time of 13.62 seconds.

Jesse Drury of SeDoMoCha came in fifth in the grade 5-6 50-meters at 7.97 seconds.

SeDoMoCha’s Isaac Drury and Jacob Raynes were 12th in the 55 hurdles and 1,600 with respective times of 10.57 seconds and 5:50.57. Hunter Clark of SeDoMoCha was 14th in the 100 at 13.44 seconds.
