TripAdvisor.com recently compiled a list of “11 Great Places to Rent a Summer Lakehouse” and Moosehead Lake was among the 11 locations recognized from around the country. The website bypassed the touristy, crowded lakes and identified 11 amazing summer lake retreats that offer just as much privacy, outdoor recreation and incredible scenery.

The vacation rentals blog of TripAdvisor.com said about Moosehead Lake, “As its name would suggest, this Maine gem has abundant wildlife.
