Road race news
On May 7 Brittany Paradis, 38, of Harmony, finished 43rd out of 116 runners in the George Kohl Memorial 5K in Oakland. Paradis ran a time of 25 minutes, 45 seconds.
Two runners from the region took part in the Shipyard Maine Coast Half Marathon in Biddeford on May 14. Jessica Inch, 40, of Dover-Foxcroft, placed 709th out of a field of 1,311 with a chip time of 2:15.55.
Kacie Ladd, 33, of St. Albans who teaches and coaches at Dexter Regional High School, placed 793rd with a 2:20.11 chip time.
