Center Theater announces ‘10th Anniversary Encore’ auditions are upcoming

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre and the Slightly Off-Center Players announce auditions for their upcoming “10th Anniversary Encore”, a collection of songs and scenes from shows at Center Theatre over the past 10 years.

Auditions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 28 and from 6 -8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31. Several directors of the different scenes will be on hand to fill their casts. Singing and non-singing roles for adults and children are available; no experience is necessary.

“We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 10th anniversary this year,” said Patrick Myers, the Center Theatre’s executive director. “What better way than celebrating some of the wonderful shows that have come across our stage over the past decade.”

“The 10th Anniversary Encore” performances are slated for Aug. 4 to 14. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Center Theatre reopening its doors to produce affordable entertainment, arts, and education.
