Boyer runs for Carnegie Mellon

PITTSBURGH — Don Boyer, a resident of Dover-Foxcroft and a 2013 graduate of Foxcroft Academy, was a member of the Carnegie Mellon University men’s indoor track and field team for the 2015-16 season.

Boyer represented the Tartans at the University Athletic Association Championship in New York City during the last weekend of February. Boyer finished 11th in the 60-meter hurdles, with a time of 8.84 seconds. He also came in 12th in the long jump, at a distance of 20 feet, 1.5 inches.

Carnegie Mellon placed fifth out of seven teams at the conference finals.
