Eagles finish as Penquis League runners-up

PITTSFIELD — The SeDoMoCha Middle School wrestling team traveled to Warsaw Middle School on Wednesday, March 23 to compete in the Penquis League Championship. The Eagles, for the second year in a row, finished as league runners-up.

LEAGUE RUNNERS-UP The SeDoMoCha Middle School wrestling team finished in second place at the Penquis League Championship on March 23 at Warsaw Middle School in Pittsfield.

 

Ridge View Middle School of Dexter came in first place with a score of 217 points, followed by SeDoMoCha with 169 points and then the third-place Warsaw Rebels.

The Eagles had eight finalists with six individual champions. Congratulations to Rico Ayala on becoming SeDoMoCha’s first three-time Penquis League champ.

Also finishing in first place for SeDoMoCha was Craig Farmer, Carter Blanchard, AJ Atkinson, Adam Dulac and Garrett Cooley.

Second place wrestlers were Skylar Gibbs and Garret Chase.

Josh Tibbetts finished in third place.
