Trio of Lakers play soccer at Maine Maritime

CASTINE — Three former Greenville High School soccer stars were members of the Maine Maritime Academy men’s team this past season.

Mariner junior forward Henry Hersey played in 12 games, with seven starts. Hersey scored two goals and picked up one assist, with 11 shots and four on goal.

Junior forward Tristan Richards appeared in 12 games, starting six contests. Richards picked up two goals and an assist, and he recorded 11 shots with five on goal.

Freshman defender Trevor Richards played in eight games, and he made three starts.

Maine Maritime finished 2015 with an overall record of 4-11-1. going 3-5-1 in North Atlantic Conference play.
