Carroll finishes freshman year on MMA football team

CASTINE — Clayton Carroll, a resident of Sebec and a 2015 graduate of Foxcroft Academy, was a freshman linebacker on the Maine Maritime Academy football team this past season. Carroll appeared in two games for the Mariners.

Maine Maritime finished 2015 with a record of 3-6, going 2-5 in New England Football Conference play. One of the Mariners’ victories came vs. Massachusetts Maritime Academy as Maine Maritime won the 43rd annual Admiral’s Cup — the school’s first such win since 2010.
