READ TO ME

Ridge View Community School accepted the Department of Education’s Read To Me Challenge promoting the importance of literacy for all students in Maine. Throughout the school in Dexter on Feb. 2 all younger children had an opportunity to have an older student read to them.
Students then brought home reading logs and challenged their parents to read to them 15 minutes every day for the month of February. Families are encouraged to accept this challenge and post pictures to #ReadtoMe or #ReadaloudME.
