Charlotte White Center receives K of C donation

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Knights of Columbus Father Patrick Hayes #3172 Council raised funds from donations made throughout the community during the council’s Tootsie Roll Drive and recently donated a check to the Charlotte White Center.

TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Father Patrick Hayes #3172 Council Ed Conroy, left, and Treasurer David Michaud, right, recently presented Charlotte White Center CEO Richard Brown with a check from monies raised during the council’s Tootsie Roll Drive.

 

For more than 25 years, Knights of Columbus in the state have given over $1,000,000 in funds raised to various organizations in the state who provide services to the handicapped. Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Father Patrick Hayes #3172 Council Ed Conroy, said he is, “proud of the community, even if they tell us they cannot eat the Tootsie, they give from the heart.”

The mission of the Charlotte White Center is to provide quality community health and social services for adults, children and families affected by cognitive or developmental disabilities, behavioral or mental health challenges, domestic violence, or acquired brain injuries.
