Reindeer Run to raise funds for Community Christmas Project

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Local high school key clubs will help raise money for the Community Christmas Project when the Foxcroft Academy Key Club and other such club hold the fourth annual Reindeer Run at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The 5-kilometer run/walk begins in front of Foxcroft Academy and goes through town. The course is relatively flat. The entry fee is a monetary donation or children’s toys. Registration will be held from 12 to 12:45 p.m. at the Foxcroft Academy Student Center (East Entrance).

The Foxcroft Academy Key Club along with the Penquis Valley of Milo, Dexter, Nokomis of Newport, Greenville and Piscataquis Community of Guilford Key Clubs are sponsoring the event to raise funds for children in their communities to have a merry Christmas.

The first male and female finishers will each receive $25 and a prize drawing will also be held for two Christmas stockings. Other prizes will also be drawn.
