Garden Club honored

DEXTER — The Ridge View Community School has a garden club that took home first place for their beans and a second-place award for their garlic from the Common Ground Fair. The RVCS Garden Club is run by Erica Rudloff, parent volunteer, and students from grades5-8 . RVCS has had a school garden for three years through the support of fundraising and donations.

The garden club is a organization that runs in the fall, summer and spring. Club members come during the summer to help weed the garden.Once a year they have a dinner for parents and members where they take the locally grown food from the garden and enjoy a meal. Garden club is for kids and parents who want to improve their gardening skills. So, when you see a person you know that does garden club congratulate them on their win for first and second place!
