Turkey Trot & Walk
GUILFORD — On Sunday, Nov. 8 Friends of Community Fitness will hold its fifth annual Turkey Trot & Walk at 11 a.m., for the registration fee and/or a frozen turkey for runners (timed) or traditional Thanksgiving meal items for the untimed walkers.
The route is approximately 3.5 miles, with some of the course on the road and some on an old railroad bed. A light luncheon is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. by donation. For more information, call 876-4813 or go to www.comfitme.com.
