Special town meeting Sept. 8

SANGERVILLE — The Sangerville select board has closed all ATV access roads in town unless the roads have been properly signed with MDOT-approved metal signs on metal posts. Previously town officials thought that ATV trail signs could be used. These signs are made of plastic and are posted on wooden stakes.

A special town meeting has been called for Sept. 8 at 6:30 pm in the fire station to address this issue, among others.  The meeting asks voters to either authorize the town to pay for the new signage or to require the costs of the signage to privately donated.
