Project Rachel promotes healing

To the Editor:

There are way too many women that are talked into or are forced into getting an abortion. After a while many of these women realize that getting an abortion was the taking of a life, and they end up living with the pain and grief of an abortion. These women need help and someone to show them some compassion not finger pointing.

There is help available for them at Project Rachel. Project Rachel is the post-abortion healing ministry of the Catholic Church, but it is open to anyone who is struggling after an abortion loss. They have a network of specially trained clergy, spiritual directors and therapists who provide compassionate “one-on-one care” to those who are struggling with the after-math of abortion.

For more information, visit www.ccmaine.org/psm or call us at 1-800-781-8550, ext. 2670 or 2671. You lived long enough with the pain, call Project Rachel.
