BREWER — The Foxcroft Youth Sports track and field team took part in a Maine Association USA Track & Field 14 & Under state qualifier on July 30 at the Brewer Community Track. The following athletes competed, and those in the top four qualified for the state meet Aug. 8 in Brewer:

Girls 8 and under shot put: 5. Emma McGary, 11-04.50.

Girls 9-10 shot put: 6. Samantha Ossenfort, 16-02; 8. Laney McGary, 13-00; and 10. Allie Smith, 12-07.25.

Girls 11-12 long jump: 4. Rabecca Thomas, 10-03.25.

Girls 8 and under javelin: 9. McGary, 22-02.

Girls 9-10 javelin: 4. McGary, 39-06; and 7. Ossenfort, 34-05.

Girls 8 and 800-racewalk: 2. McGary, 7:58.56.

Girls 9-10 800-racewalk: 4. Smith, 5:52.74.

Girls 11-12 100: 12. Thomas, 17.50.

Girls 11-12 200: 5. Thomas, 36.49.

Boys 11-12 shot put: 2. Henry Kreider, 23-04.

Boys 11-12 discus: 2. Kreider, 60-00.

Boys 11-12 javelin: 6. Kreider, 40-00.
