CLARIFICATION
A story on the town of Dexter budget that appeared on page 3 of the July 15 issue of The Piscataquis Observer mentioned that the mil rate is expected to be raised from $17.70 to $19 per $1,000.
Town officials have not yet set the mil rate, but the figure will be at a rate “not to exceed $19.”
