River Festival Fitness 5K and fun run
GUILFORD — Friends of Community Fitness will be offered a 5K road race and kid’s fun run as part of the 2015 Piscaaquis River Festival on Saturday, July 25.
The free fun run for children starts at 8 a.m. at the downtown recreational field, with registration beginning at 7:30. The first 24 entrants will receive a T-shirt and a ribbon, and awards will be given to first, second and third place.
The 5K starts at 8:45 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:15. The course may be run or walked, with runners being timed. Registration forms are at www.comfitme.com . For more information, please call 876-4813.
