Summer Science Club for grades 5-8

 DEXTER/DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Summer Science Club announces opportunities for hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities for youngsters in grades 5-8.

 Want to make an air cannon and knock things down with the power of air?

 Want to learn to use science tools like telescopes, microscopes and 3D printers?

 Interested in making a solar powered oven and doing some cooking?

 Ridge View Community School Summer Science Club in Dexter is July 13-16 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. (8 a.m. to noon if students want a free breakfast and lunch).

 SeDoMoCha Science Club in Dover-Foxcroft is July 20-23 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. (8:30 a.m. to noon if students want free lunch).

 This opportunity is being offered by the STEM Guides Project of Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance (MMSA) and will help connect youth to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities they can do at home, in their community, and with their friends.
