Flag Day ceremony honors vets

ABBOT — Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m.  the Sons and Daugh-ters of Union Veterans will be holding a memorial service for four Civil War Veterans at the Abbot Cemetery.  Honored will be Stephen Lovell, Franklin French, Charles Wyman and Alan Woods. 

Following the ceremony there will be refreshments at the Ab-bot Town Hall furnished by the DUV and Abbot Historical So-ciety.  Members of the public are invited to attend to honor Civil War Veterans during this Flag Day event.
