In the four-mile Run Rabbit Run trail run through the Bangor City Forest on May 2, Danielle Vafiades, 31 of Dexter, placed 31st in a field of 117 runners with a time of 33 minutes, 45 seconds. Autumn Elliot, 28 of Dover-Foxcroft, came in 33rd at 33:45. Miranda Dyer, 29 of LaGrange, was one of several who walked the route.
On May 2 Brittany Paradis, 29 of Harmony, came in 38th out of 77 in the George Kohl Memorial 5K in Oakland. Paradis ran a time of 28:08.
