American Flag ColorPO DavidKennettOBPARKMAN – David F. Kennett, 67, died May 7, 2015, at his home in Parkman. He was born in Veazie March 30, 1948, the son of Roland and Esther (Ford) Kennett.
    He graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1966. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the Navy he joined the Air National Guard, where he served for over 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. For many years he also worked for Bangor Hydro until his retirement in 2011.
    Many local people would know Dave from his retirement job at the Guilford Shell station. David was a member of the Masons for over 20 years.
    He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Grant) Kennett of Parkman; five stepchildren, Tess, Tina, Tani, Bravis and Brian; two sisters, Martha Gervais, and Nancy Campbell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews.
