Events at the Grange

    Thursday, May 7 Piscataquis Pomona Grange meets at the Garland Grange for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. followed by a monthly meeting at 7. All area Granges are invited. Garland Grange is located on the Oliver Hill Road. For more, contact Bill Bemis at 924-3537.

    Friday, May 8 Garland Grange hosts a ham supper from 5 until 7 p.m. Menu includes baked ham, vegetables, potato, homemade bread and desserts and takeout is available. For more, call 924-6954.
    May 8 Garland Grange hosts a family contra dance from 7 until 9 p.m. Great family friendly live music by the Reel People Band. Caller is John McIntire. All dances are taught, so you don’t even need to know how to dance, we will teach you. amily. For more, call 924-3925 or 277-3961.
    Saturday, May 9 Parkman Grange hosts the 15th annual Mother’s Day Tea from 10 a.m. until noon. For reservations call Sue Manchester at 277-3942.
    May 9 is the Garland Grange Spring Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Do you need to clean out your home, attic, or barn? Are you in search of used treasures? In addition to lots of great stuff for sale, there will also be some excellent Grange food for sale including lunch items, baked goods and more. For your opportunity to sell unwanted/unused stuff, call Jackie at 564-0029. Donations are accepted and pick up is available within 10 miles of Garland. No furniture, please. All donations become property of Garland Grange.
