Two from region run in Boston Marathon
BOSTON — A pair of runners from the Piscataquis area were among the thousands taking part in the 119th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20.
Maryanna Ray, 35 of Ripley, covered the 26.2 miles in 3 hours, 8 minutes and 17 seconds. Ray placed 4,259th overall.
Henry Jao, 58 of Dover-Foxcroft, ran a marathon time of 3:55.41. He ended up placing 17,921st overall.
