More room and new classes at Color of Life Studio

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Color of Life Studio has moved, but not very far away from their old location.
It’s still in the Union Square Mall in downtown Dover-Foxcroft, but right across the hall in the former H & R Block office. “We’re thrilled to be here,” said Becky Feaser. “We just took out one of the walls last weekend to give us more room.”
After teaching yoga classes three days a week at the Piscataquis Regional YMCA, Feaser opened her own studio in January and moved into the new section of the mall just three weeks ago.
Starting this week, Color of Life Studio will have classes five days per week which includes belly dancing, chair yoga, power yoga and classes for youngsters ages 3-5 and 6-10.

“Yoga is for all ages,” said Becky’s husband, Rich. “Youngsters get a head start on healthy habits. For senior citizens, yoga can help you improve your breathing, stamina and balance.”
Becky Feaser graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1990, moved to Arizona and came back home after 23 years in the Grand Canyon State. “I really didn’t care for it out there,” she said. Working for an energy management company in a variety of roles kept her indoors most of the time “and that’s just not me.”
So she enrolled in the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, received her degree in 2012 and made her plans to move back to Maine.
Color of Life Studio also plans to add more classes, including one taught by Rich to improve your golf game. “When you swing a golf club, you’re really doing a yoga exercise,” he noted. “This class will help you maximize those movements.”
Becky Feaser will also offer private workshops at camps this summer. “We’re very flexible and open to new ideas,” she said.
For a full listing of classes, pricing and times, find Color of Life Studio on Facebook or call 279-9070.
