Oms receives PCHS MPA Principal’s Award

lo-PCHSaward-dcX-po-10    GUILFORD — Antonella B. Oms of Guilford, a senior at Piscataquis Community High School, has been selected to receive the 2015 Principal’s Award. Principal John Keane announced.
    The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic excellence, outstanding school citizenship and leadership.

 Oms has an excellent academic record and is highly regarded among staff and students. She and other award winners and their principals will attend an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 11 at 12:30 p.m.
    The Honors Luncheon recognizes these outstanding students with the presentation of an individual plaque, lapel pin and entered into a drawing giving him the opportunity to be awarded one of the 10  $1,000 scholarships.
    The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 130 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association which represents all of Maine’s school administrators.
