On Feb. 21, State Sen. Paul Davis (R-Piscataquis), left, and State Sen. Scott Cyrway (R-Kennebec), right, spoke to a district meeting of the American Legion in Dexter about veterans’ issues pending in the legislature. The two senators attended at the invitation of former State Rep. Pete Johnson of Greenville, the second vice-commander of the American Legion Department of Maine. Davis attended in his role as the senator who serves the region and Cyrway attended in his role as chair of the Legislature’s Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee.
