Meteora to take the stage at East Sangerville Grange

    SANGERVILLE — Saturday, April 4 will be the second to last performance in the 2014-15 East Sangerville Grange Coffee House season. Hitting the stage will be Meteora, a midcoast trio whose female lead Kat Logan has been part of the Maine folk music scene since 1990.

    Logan has played with many bands including Driftwood, The Kevin Gilmore Country Band and The Black Iris Jazz Trio. She has recorded with folk legend Gordon Bok and also recorded on the 2009 Grammy-nominated folk album “Singing Through The Hard Times.” Her styles include blues, country, jazz, and spiritual.
    Meteora is known for its tight three-part harmonies. The group plays an eclectic array of original songs and folk ballads from a wide repertoire of world music, as well as traditional songs and original arrangements.
    Tickets for the April 4 show will be available at the door or in advance at Bob’s Home and Garden in Dover-Foxcroft. You can also reserve tickets by calling 564-8596.
