PVC all-stars

    All three of the area’s Class C schools were represented on the Penobscot Valley Conference’s postseason honors lists.
    For the girls, Alex Speed of PCHS was chosen for the First Team. Megan Peach of Dexter was named to the Girls’ Second Team and Girls’ Third Team players include Dexter’s Michaela White and Peyton Watson and Delani Benett of PCHS.

    Nate Burns of PCHS was selected for the Boys’ Second Team. Bailey Spack was a Third Team honoree and Tristan French of PCHS was a boys’ honorable mention pick.
    Spack, Burns, French and Jeremy Bell of PCHS were all chosen to take part in the Boys’ C/D Senior All-Star game.
    Each of the 20 PVC schools has a boy and girl on the conference’s All-Defensive Team. The local players are White, Speed and Jordan Durant of Penquis on the girls’ side, and Burns, Matthew Bartlett of Dexter and Penquis’ Clayton Tarnoczy were the boys’ honorees.
