Fadley sparks La Salle to solid finish in the pool

    PHILADELPHIA — The La Salle mens’ swimming and diving had a solid showing at the Atlantic 10 Championships recently at the Spire Institute, finishing the four-day event in 4th place with 449.5 team points. Overall, five school records fell and another was tied.

    Foxcroft Academy graduate Cameron Fadley was a top performer at the meet, earning silver medals and setting the school record in the 100-yard butterfly and tying the mark for the 200-yard IM. The sophomore won the silver in the 100-yard fly by clocking a 47.92, breaking his own school record and securing an NCAA “B” cut.
    Fadley earned the silver in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:49.23, tying Ron Karnaugh’s school record from 1986.
