Foxcroft Academy to host District V Honors Festival performance on Feb. 7

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft Academy will host the Maine Music Educators Association (MMEA) District V High School Honors Festival performance on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. This gathering of elite musicians from 23 area schools will showcase the talents of orchestra, band, and chorus ensembles in one concert as the culmination of two days of rigorous rehearsal. Admission is at a rate of per adult or student and senior citizens with a maximum per family.

    TOP MUSICIANS — Twelve Foxcroft Academy musicians, some of whom are pictured at last month’s school Christmas concert, will be among those performing at the Maine Music Educators Association District V High School Honors Festival performance on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m.

    Festival musicians were nominated by their school’s music director and then selected based upon musicianship, tone, range and comments from the director. Twelve Foxcroft Academy musicians will be represented in this year’s show.
