Stable of Ponies recognized by the Big Ten Conference

    A number of players from this past season’s Foxcroft Academy football received postseason recognition from the Big Ten Conference (Class C East).
    Chosen for the First Team on offense were junior quarterback Hunter Smith, senior running back Peter Boyer and senior lineman Clay Carroll. The Second Team offense includes senior lineman Sean Cody and junior place-kicker Nate Church.

    Big Ten First Team honorees on defense from Foxcroft are Cody on the line, Boyer as a linebacker and Smith as a back. Carroll was chosen for the Second Team defense as a linebacker.
    Sophomore Billy Brock and senior Kaleb Faloon were Honorable Mention choices.
    Named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team were both Carroll and Cody.
    Boyer earned Big Ten Player of the Year honors, and Head Coach Dan White was chosen as the conference’s Coach of the Year.
