PVC field hockey honors

    Field hockey players from Dexter Regional High School, Foxcroft Academy and Piscataquis Community High School received postseason recognition from the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC).

    Named to the First Team were Peyton Watson and Katie Batron of Dexter and Foxcroft’s Julia Annis, Fern Morrison and Abby Simmons.
    Second Team honorees include Abby Webber and Marissa Mitchell of Dexter and Alanna Page and Jewel Lamb of PCHS.
    Jenny Boyer of Foxcroft and PCHS’ Alexa Merrill both received Third Team recognition.
    The All-Academic squad includes Annis and Morrison and Caitlyn Hession and Whitney Kain of PCHS.
    The Coach of the Year is Stephanie Smith of Foxcroft.
