Dexter council meets Thursday with routine agenda

    DEXTER — The Dexter Town Council’s monthly meeting is set for Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. with a mostly routine agenda.

    Among the items to be discussed:
    A special amusement permit and liquor license renewal for the Moosehead Motor Lodge;
    Updates on general assistance guidelines, which are mostly state mandates;
    Annual appointment of a public works director/road commissioner;
    The sale of a highway department truck and two facilities vehicles;
    The interest rate on a bond for road improvements, passed at a previous council meeting;
    Five quit-claim deeds, including one for the former Dexter Café to be reopened by Rev. Merlin “George” Dever and his wife, Marjorie; and
    Certification of the Nov. 4 election results.
