Turkey Trot on Sunday
GUILFORD — On Sunday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. will be the fourth annual 3.5-mile Turkey Trot & Walk to help stock the local food pantries for the holidays. Runners can enter for a fee and/or a frozen turkey and walkers (who will not be timed) can take part in exchange for canned goods or fixings. Those collecting $15 in pledges will receive a T-shirt.
The Turkey Trot is being hosted by Friends of Community Fitness, 31 High Street, and a light luncheon will be served — by donation — from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information go to www.comfitme.com or contact 876-4813.
