Alan Wintle of Dexter, a Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Department corrections officer, was recently promoted to the rank of corporal. He’ll now supervise one of the night shifts at the jail.
According to a Facebook post from the department, “Alan has consistently stepped up to take on new projects and address issues that need attention.” Wintle is a former member of the Dexter Town Council and is currently a trustee on the Dexter Utility District.
