FIND THE WHOOPIE PIE WINNER

Jean Raymond of Dover-Foxcroft, second from left, is the grand prize winner in The Piscataquis Observer’s annual Find The Whoopie Pie contest. Raymond’s name was chosen from four weekly winners in which entrants successfully located a whoopie pie hidden in one of that week’s advertisements.

Presenting the prize package to Raymond at the Center Theatre is Maine Whoopie Pie Festival Organizer Patrick Myers, Keri Foster of The Piscataquis Observer and festival mascot Sweetie Pie. The weekly winners each won a fifth anniversary festival poster, a half gallon of whoopie pie ice cream and tokens for samples at the 2014 Maine Whoopie Pie Festival.
