PVC tennis accolades
Jose Palma of Piscataquis Community High School was named to the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC) boys’ Class C First Team in tennis singles play for this past season. PCHS’ Mitchel Noyes was named to the Third Team.
In girls’ Class C, Lucinda Wingert was named to the First Team for singles. Second Team honorees included PCHS’ Belle Wingert in singles and Jenna Chapman and Katie Haley in doubles. Alanna Page of PCHS was chosen for the Third Team in singles.
The PVC All-Academic team included Sam Keane of Foxcroft Academy for the boys’ squad, and Selina Guo of Foxcroft for the girls’ team.
