Piscataquis Cruise-In Sunday

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Ladies and gentlemen, wake up and smell the exhaust fumes! Hear the roar of the hot engines … gawk at the custom paint …. join car enthusiasts on the baseball field on Fairview Avenue on Sunday, June 22 for the fourth annual Piscataquis Cruise-In. Car registration is from 8:30-11 a.m. The visitors gate opens at 9:30 a.m. There is no fee to register a car.

    Take a trip down memory lane as you look close-up to muscle cars, street rods, imports and more for this family friendly event: which will have  kid’s games, food, DJ music, door prizes and a live auction starts at noon. Also, a People’s Choice Trophy, bumper ball contest and rap contest.
    Once again the safety division of The National Street Rod Association will perform a 23-point safety inspection for any car owner who requests one. The inspection covers such items as front end components, light bulbs, neutral safety switches and parking brakes. The inspection procedure is performed free of charge.
