Almquist Invitational results

    ORONO — The track teams from Piscataquis Community Middle School and SeDoMoCha Middle School both took part in the Almquist Middle School Invitational on May 27 at the University of Maine.
    PCMS Lexi Harris placed in the top five in two events. She came in third in the 800 in 2 minutes, 41 seconds, and was fifth in the 55 hurdles with a time of 10.28 seconds.

    Trevon Bair of PCMS came in third in the boys’ 800 with a time of 2:25.12.
    Cameron Marsh of SeDoMoCha tied for fourth in the high jump at 4 feet, 10 inches.
    Seventh in the shot put was SeDoMoCha’s Nick Clawson with a throw of 33-07.
    A distance of 13-08.50 put Dustin Simmons of SeDoMoCha in ninth place in the long jump.
    Tenth in the 400 with a time of 1:06.72 was SeDoMoCha’s Michaleb Niles.
