Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show Friday night

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Shake the mud off your shoes and go to the Center Theatre on Friday, April 25 at 7 p.m. for the annual Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the fundraiser for Pine Tree Hospice and like 20 years ago, the performers this year are all connected with the medical profession.

“We have doctors from Mayo Regional Hospital, school nurses, counselors, therapists from the Charlotte White Center, physician’s families and more,” said Jane Stitham, executive director of Pine Tree Hospice “We couldn’t be happier with the support we are receiving from Mayo Regional Hospital and the medical community as we mark this milestone anniversary.”
Some of the acts attendees will enjoy this year include a variety of talented singers, a one-act play performed by children, a duet on flute and piano, and other inspired talents. Returning as host this year to celebrate the anniversary is legendary MC, Dr. David Frasz who is sure to entertain the audience between acts. Admission to the variety show is by donation with a number of departments from Mayo Regional Hospital providing food and water for concessions.  Tickets to the show are available at the Pine Tree Hospice office, the Center Theatre box office and also at Center Theatre the night of the show.
The Variety Show is one of hospice’s key annual fundraisers and supports their work all year long.  For more information on the Variety Show or the programs and services of Pine Tree Hospice, please call the office at 564-4346 or visit www.pinetreehospice.org.
