DOVER-FOXCROFT — P.E.T.S. next fundraiser is a lasagna dinner on Saturday, April 26 at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church from 4:30-6 p.m.
A variety of lasagna will be served, including vegetarian, also salad, rolls and dessert. New this year will be a Chinese auction.

P.E.T.S. (Prevent Euthanasia Through Sterilization) mission is to assist with low cost spaying and neutering of dogs and cats. They are a non-profit 501C3 and donations are tax deductible. One hundred percent of the donations go towards the animals. There are no paid positions. P.E.T.S. depends on grants and community donations.
Another fundraiser will be the annual perennial plant sale on May 31 at the Congregational Church. The organization is looking for donations of plants, bulbs and garden supplies. Please call Mary at 564-8092 to arrange pick-up.
P.E.T.S. now has a wonderful partnership with ShoeBox Recycling. Community donations of gently used shoes are collected then ShoeBox Recycling sends shoes to needy countries and P.E.T.S. gets paid by the pound.
Shoes can be donated locally at the Piscataquis Regional YMCA and at the Center Theater. Thank you to these establishments for allowing shoes to be collected onsite.
