D-F shooting under investigation
Staff Report
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Police are investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday morning at a Lawrence Street residence in Dover-Foxcroft, according to Police Chief Dennis Dyer. “Once we arrived there, we learned that a subject had been shot three different times,” Dyer said. The person was taken by LifeFlight to Eastern Maine Medical Center, but Dyer said he did not think “it was a life-threatening situation but we’re watching it.”
Dyer said that all the people involved in the incident “have been very cooperative with us and given us good interviews. At this point, the investigation is still ongoing.” Dyer added that no one has been taken into custody.
