FA Key Club receives five awards at New England conference

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy chapter of Key Club was recognized five times at the 65th annual New England District Education, Leadership & Service Conference, which was held in Springfield, Mass. April 5-6.

KEY CLUB HONORS — The Foxcroft Academy Key Club received five awards at the New England District Education, Leadership & Service Conference in Springfield, Mass. earlier in the month.     The Foxcroft Academy Key Club, which was chartered in 1971 and is currently led by advisor George Rolleston, earned the Early Bird Award and the UNICEF Award for the ninth straight year; received third place in the District Project Award (for donating $2,600 to local projects); and was honored to receive the coveted Distinguished Key Club Award and first place for the Yearly Achievement Award in the Gold Division (61-80 members).
    This year’s Key Club has completed more than 50 service projects (averaging 48 service hours per member) and has raised more that $9,000 for the community.
