Soto part of Eagles’ inaugural season in the pool

    BANGOR — Leonard Soto, of Dover-Foxcroft and a graduate of Foxcroft Academy, was a member of the first Husson University men’s swimming and diving team this past season.

    Soto, who is an advanced biology major, finished 2013-14 holding five school men’s swimming records. Soto’s marks include a time of 37.65 seconds in the 50 breast, 1:21.47 in the 100 breast, 3:02.30 in the 200 breast and 1:24.00 in the 100 IM.
    He also swam the second leg of the fastest Eagle 2013-14 200 medley relay team, at 1:58.81.
