Correction

    In the Jan. 15 issue, it was incorrectly stated that Dexter Town Councilor Fred Banks was unanimously elected chairman and Councilor Mike Blake was chosen as vice chairman without opposition. However, Councilor Denise Dinsmore said she did not vote for either one.

    According to the council’s recording of the proceedings, former Chairman Peter Haskell asked for a show of hands for those favoring the candidates, but did not ask for those opposed.
