Boot camp for new dads

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — New babies don’t come with owners manuals. Lots of first time fathers have questions. How do I hold, feed, talk to or play with a baby? Penquis Maine Families and Mayo Regional Hospital will host a “Boot Camp for New Dads” at Mayo Regional Hospital from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 in the Sebec Conference Room.

    The workshop offers first time fathers-to-be a chance to talk with experienced dads who bring their own babies. This workshop is designed for dads-to-be that are in the last trimester of pregnancy. Breakfast will be provided. To register call Denise Trafton with Maine Families at 974-2488. This workshop is sponsored by Penquis Maine Families and Mayo Regional Hospital and funded by Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
