Beekeepers meeting
DEXTER — The Penquis Beekeepers’ January meeting will be held, weather permitting, on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at the VFW on Cedar Street. Present plans are to show the film “More Than Honey”. Academy Award-nominated director Marcus Imhoof tackles the issue of why bees, worldwide, are facing extinction.
Winner of six film festival awards, “More Than Honey” will begin showing at 7:10 p.m. If time permits, a short business meeting will follow. Anyone interested in beekeeping is welcome to attend. For more information call 997-3546.
