Santa Claus to light Guilford Christmas tree Saturday
GUILFORD — The Guilford Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Braeburn lot at the corner of Water and North Maine streets.
The Guilford Historical Society will serve hot cocoa and sweets at 5 p.m. Then at 6 p.m., Santa will arrive in a fire truck to light the Christmas tree. There will be a bonfire and Christmas caroling featuring the PCSS chorus under the direction of Mrs. Julie Harrington following the tree lighting ceremony.
Santa will be handing out candy canes and hearing Christmas wishes, so everyone should bring a camera to get a picture.
