The arrival of the first snow of the 2013-14 season coincided with the start of the holidays as several inches fell in Dover-Foxcroft around Dec. 1-2.
On Saturday, Dec. 7 towns across the region will celebrate Hometown Holidays, featuring a number of events in five different communities.
